"Use of wines and cavas in Catalan cuisine "

Basic program:3 days in half-board in one of our hotels.

1st DAY:
Half day cookery workshop: “Use of wines and cavas in Catalan cuisine”.

Menu example:
  • Melon soup with cava aromas.
  • Chicken with cava.
  • Sea bass fillet with Marques de Alella wine.

Half day restaurant workshop:
Preparation of tables in accordance with menu prepared.
Dessert preparation: Canary bananas Flambe a la Calisay with chocolate coulis.
Explanation about cava production: Types of grape and differences between various cavas.
Cava can accompany any dish. Learn the best marriages.


2nd DAY:
Visit the central market of Barcelona “ Mercabarna”. Mercabarna is the company that administers the Food Unit that is made up by the city of Barcelona’s wholesale markets as well as by a large number of companies involved in the production, sale, distribution, import and export of fresh and frozen produce and products.

Visit of Boquería, the most atmospheric market on the Ramblas. La Boqueria is one of the best markets in Europe, because it is not only to come and buy, but simply to enjoy the pleasure of wandering around.  


3rd DAY:tarragona
Visit to the Modernist bodega in Alella with wine tasting included.

Visit the chocolate museum of Barcelona, and give yourself a treat with a tasting to die for!!

At the same time you will be able to visit one of the most beautiful cities on the Mediterranean, Barcelona.




This program can be modified to suit the needs of each group, be it the number of days or the content of the workshops and visits.
