Montseny Natural Park- Biosphere Reserve:

Nice beech woods. Montseny‘s springs. Wonderful panoramic from Catalonia. Ethnology (ice wells, livestock...)
Possibility of 3 different routes depending on weather or participants‘physical conditions.

Difficulty easy-medium.
1 Route: 100m of ascent – Route: 2 & 3: 600m of ascent.

Oak, pine tree, cork oak woods. Native fauna. Wonderful panoramic from coastal and pre coastal mountain range.
Possibility of 3 different routes depending on weather or participants‘physical conditions.

Route: 100m of ascent – Route: 2 & 3: 400m of ascent.

The silhouette of the massif calls to mind the toothed blade of a saw, and this explains its name, for Montserrat means “serrated or saw-toothed mountain”. Montserrat offers you some of the most spectacular mountain views of Catalonia.

This lovely botanic garden was founded in the 1920s by German industrialist Karl Faust on the site of an earlier garden. Here you will find more than 4,000 species of plants, and they are arranged in themes, and include a subtropical garden. Plants include a large cacti collection, bamboo groves, palms, olives and cypresses. From the headland are beautiful views of the coastline and sea.
